Ah, sledding! Is there anything more wholesome and wintery than sledding? It’s the great equalizer, as everyone young and old can appreciate how much fun it is to go sliding down a snowy white hill. Fortunately, Central Ohio has some of the best sledding around. Check out the Highbanks Metro Park! Their 100 ft bluffs and hills are sure to get the blood pumping. Scioto park is another great place to sled, but be sure to check the website to make sure it’s open before heading over.

Catch a hockey game
If you like the idea of ice skating but don’t like falling down, hockey is the next best thing. Live sporting events are so much fun, but it’s even more exciting when it’s your hometown team. The Columbus Blue Jackets may not be the best team in the NHL, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. That means tickets are extremely affordable, and the people watching the games actually care about the sport. Check out their package deals to get the best bang for your buck!.
